Popular Lexington Italian restaurant recognized as a top American independent dining spot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Mileta was named as one of FSR Magazine’s Top 50 Independent Restaurants in America, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

The magazine reportedly said the restaurant “quickly earned a place in Lexington’s dining scene by pairing craft with genuine warmth,” the Herald-Leader says.

The Herald-Leader reports that Mileta serves housemade pastas and craft cocktails, features seasonal menus using local ingredients, and is known for its award-winning decor. The restaurant opened in 2024.
