Making the syrup was way harder than the ice cream because every flavor had to be layered like a perfume: bright citrus, dark fruit, warm spice, vanilla, almond, and just enough mystery to make your brain go, “Wait… that’s Dr Pepper.”
Then I used the exact same syrup to make homemade soda.
