Im growing tomatoes on my balcony. I had a caterpillar problem and lost 3-4 tomatoes beforehand to them, which felt awful. Once the one in the photo was fully red, ChatGPT advised me to pick it up. I can't be prouder right now. Will leave it 2 more days to ripen more and then taste it. Tomatoes are awesome!

Congrats, that first harvest is amazing! There’s nothing quite like it. I also grow tomatoes on my balcony in the Urals! Caterpillars mess up the plants too, so I try to stop the butterflies. My best yield so far was 3.8 kg per plant with beefsteak tomatoes!

Tomatoes are awesome and once you eat fine grown tomatoes you will be hooked on growing them. You’ll even put up with caterpillars and all kinds of things because the end result is worth it.
