Trying matcha tiramisu and a new Biscoff latte at Manasiri’s Crepes & Sandwiches
MONTEREY, Calif. —
A family-owned business on Alvarado Street in Monterey is getting attention for its specialty drinks, including a matcha tiramisu and a new Biscoff latte.
The shop, Manasiri’s Crepes & Sandwiches, has been blowing up on social media and has been praised for both the flavor and creativity of its menu items.
The new Biscoff latte includes Biscoff butter, whole milk and espresso, and is topped with tiramisu and a Biscoff cookie.
It definitely leans sweeter and tastes a lot like a vanilla latte.
The matcha tiramisu was my favorite. It had the right balance of sweetness and that earthy matcha flavor. I know some people may not love the softer texture, but I’m a big fan.
It can be hard to find good matcha in Monterey, but this one really stood out to me.
If I had to rank them, I’d put the matcha latte first, the Biscoff second and the original third.
