Massachusetts chef wins Great American Seafood Cook-Off in New Orleans

Thirteen chefs from across the country competed at the 22nd annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off in New Orleans today, showcasing their culinary skills at the Convention Center.

Each chef prepared an original seafood dish in hopes of earning the title of King or Queen of American Seafood.

This year’s winner, Quang Tran of Massachusetts, impressed the judges with his New England lobster creation.

The annual competition celebrates America’s seafood industry while highlighting the creativity and talent of chefs from across the country.
