ROGUE VALLEY, Ore. – USA Today’s “10 Best” article deems the Rogue Valley as the best wine region in the U.S.
“with its diverse microclimates and varying elevation, allows for the cultivation of a wide range of grape varieties,” USA Today said in their article. “This diversity results in the production of distinct wines, marking the region as a versatile player in the North American wine scene.”
If you’re thinking about making a visit to the Rogue Valley, Jackson County alone has roughly 45 wineries, according to the American Winery Guide.
The Rogue Valley provides plenty of scenery with hiking trails, peaks, and mountains to traverse and discover. Views of Mount Ashland, Roxy Ann Peak, and the Upper and Lower Table Rocks await visitors. Crater Lake and Redwood National Parks are also a car ride away from the Rogue Valley.
“Fans love to visit this part of the Pacific Northwest, where outdoor activities add to the appeal of the wine region,” the article said.
