Made these a while ago. It’s surprising how close you can get to that old nostalgic dish both in taste and texture. I have used Naturli/Stabburet mince a well as beyond, and somehow they both had their upsides. Naturli is better on taste, but beyond matches the texture of coarse meatballs better.
I’m tempted to make some of my own again now on Sunday. Somehow kjøttkaker as Sunday dinner always makes me nostalgic, and nothing quite brings out the memories from my childhood like it. We tend to eat them with mashed peas, and whole potatoes, but any variation is valid. Oh and of course there is always lingonberry jam on the side.
