Café Déjà Vu is bringing together family recipes and classic French baking techniques, creating a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere on the southeast side of Cedar Rapids.
Located in the Town & Country Shopping Center on First Avenue Southeast, Café Déjà Vu is owned by Ian and Isabelle Cummings, the former owners of popular French bakery Croissant Du Jour. Croissant Du Jour was open from 2004 until 2016, before the couple changed the bakery into a French bistro called L’Auberge, which later closed.
The menu features traditional French favorites – including croissants, quiche and scones – along with soups, salads, sandwiches, specialty coffee drinks, teas and smoothies. Café Déjà Vu is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with lunch served daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
