Just wanted to give a few highlights of the spots I've been to. The restaurants are in order from my favorite to least favorite. Two photos per place:
Restaurant: Moono
Location: Koreatown (Manhattan)
Cuisine: Korean
Price/Description: Multi-course meal for $60. A choice of three different appetizers, an entree and side, and then dessert.
Day/Time Offered: Dinner only
Other info: From the same owner as Jua. Meal comes with a cucumber soup as an amuse bouche. Add-ons such as the Galbi-Jjim and Mushroom Sot-Bap are very much worth it. Easily the best this year, and a steal compared to their normal menu

Restaurant: Cathédrale
Location: East Village
Cuisine: French Mediterranean
Price/Description: $60 for 3 courses
Day/Time Offered: Dinner only
Other Info: Inside the Moxy Hotel. Bread and olives served at the beginning. They have some cheap wine as part of their summer bistro series ($25 for a handful of 15 oz carafes.) Friendly service. A bit loud. They gave some extra dishes for our large group as there were service issues (some flattery goes a long way with this list)

Restaurant: Café Boulud
Location: Upper East Side
Cuisine: French
Price/Description: $60 for 3 courses
Day/Time Offered: Dinner
Other Info: 1 Michelin star. No mignardises or amuse, unlike last year, but still filling. Best bread

Restaurant: Café Fleuri
Location: FiDi
Cuisine: Coastal French
Price/Description: $45 for 2 courses or $60 for 3 courses
Day/Time Offered: Lunch (2 course option) or dinner (3 course option)
Other Info: New spot where Schilling was. Excellent tomatoes in particular

Manhatta
Location: FiDi
Cuisine: New American
Price/Description: $60 for 2 courses, $70 for 3 courses
Day/Time Offered: Lunch only, including weekends
Other info: From Union Square Hospitality. Particularly nice for views. Nice bread in the beginning

Restaurant: Wabi Nori
Location: Lower East Side or Flushing (downtown)
Cuisine: Japanese
Price/Description: $45 for 2 courses or $60 for 3 courses
Day/Time Offered: Lunch (2 courses) or Dinner (3 courses.)
Other Info: Got rushed out. Lovely appetizers, but not the best handrolls. I'd say lunch is better, as the dessert is more of a throwaway.
Menu PDF: Here . Same menu at both locations
