St. Peter’s Italian Bazaar celebrates 101 years in Portland
The St. Peter’s Italian Bazaar is celebrating its 101st year in Portland this weekend with homemade Italian food, live music, games and family activities.
PORTLAND, Maine —
A longtime Portland tradition is back this weekend, bringing Italian food, music and festivities to the city.
The St. Peter’s Italian Bazaar is celebrating its 101st year of honoring Italian heritage and supporting St. Peter’s Parish.
Crowds gathered under tents along Federal Street Friday evening to enjoy homemade Italian favorites, including pizza, pasta and pastries. The celebration also features live music, games and activities for the entire family.
The annual bazaar has brought generations of families together to celebrate Portland’s Italian-American community and the traditions surrounding St. Peter’s Parish.
The festival runs until 10 p.m. Friday and returns Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.
