‘Big Brother 28’ spoilers: Veto meeting locks in the block, and Chuk’s cooking up a risky plan for Thursday

Gold Derby is serving up Big Brother 28 spoilers all summer long. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk had a decision to make on Monday, and in the end, he made the one everyone saw coming: he’s not using the Power of Veto. That leaves Haley Thogmartin, Chuk Anyanwu, and Barrett Pfeiffer exactly where LaTrice “Lala” Verrett put them, and it means Thursday’s BB Block Buster competition just became must-watch viewing.

Kamu’s Red Corner allies weren’t exactly shocked. Chuk and Haley have spent the last few days griping to each other that they’re the only two still fighting to keep the alliance alive, and Kamu confirming he’d sit on his hands with the Veto only proves their point. Still, Kamu’s got his reasons — with Dee Valladares, Rick Devens, Yash Patel, and Taylor Brown all circling him with new alliance chatter, he doesn’t seem too worried about burning bridges with Chuk and Haley right now.

That sets up a BB Block Buster where the winner saves themselves and one of the two remaining nominees will be evicted. And this is where things get interesting: Chuk has convinced himself it’s actually better for his game if Haley wins the Block Buster, because he believes he has the votes to beat Barrett in a final showdown. Maybe he’s right. But if Chuk gets it in his head to throw the Block Buster to make that happen, he’s playing with fire — and he could easily be the one walking out the door on Thursday instead.
