1 injured in shooting at food mart in Ocala, police say

OCALA, Fla. —

Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday evening at a food mart in Ocala, reporting one person was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

The shooting occurred at King’s Food Mart on SW Fort King Street and SW Martin L King Avenue, the Ocala Police Department said around 6 p.m. on social media.

“The incident is under investigation. More information will be released when available,” the post states.
