With a time-tested operational vision and innovative foresight, BelGioioso Cheese Company is continuing to differentiate in the specialty category.

“In 1979 my father moved from Italy to Green Bay, Wisconsin to start Belgioioso Cheese, and we produce 40 varieties of wonderful cheeses,” said Sofia Auricchio Krans, Project Manager. “Provolone was the first cheese that we began in 1979. It’s a pasta filata, so same family of fresh mozzarella, an older cousin, a lot more flavor, a lot more excitement.”
CreamyGorg® is one offering bringing diversity to the supplier’s portfolio, touting a buttery, creamy, earthy flavor. The marinated crumbles are also new to the category, a crumble of Asiago and Romano cheese.

“And finally, we’ve introduced a Hispanic line called Hispanic Selections,” Sofia continued. “Featuring cotija, which is a wonderful crumble. We have quesadilla cheese, great meltability, and finally our Oaxaca, which is stretchy, ooey gooey, wonderful as well.”
