VICTORIA, Texas – A huge and special truck made its way to the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent.
A 250 America truck arrived at the Food Bank headquarters.
The trucks are 53-feet long and they normally carry about 40,000 pounds of shelf stable food.
That was donated to the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent.
Just Serve, an organization connected with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, picked the Food Bank to donate food.
Just Serve workers grow and can their own food for their church members.
They share the excess food with organizations.
The Food Bank of the Golden Crescent, which serves 11 counties, was one of the 250 food banks in the country picked for this food donation.
