Soccer pitch cake (with levitating ball!)

Soccer (football? Whatever 💁🏻‍♀️) cake for my colleague’s kid’s end of year team party. I decided to bust out my levitating magnet to make the ball float over the cake 😎

I can’t attach video in this sub to show you the floatage but it’s a levitating magnet display thing I’ve inserted into a cut out slot at the back of the cake (notch lined in fondant so nothing touches the cake); I’m not promoting my social media here but if you find it you can see how it floats.

It’s vanilla cake, with cherry jam, crushed shortbread creams, condensed milk buttercream and a shit ton of coconut for grass, because I hate a grass piping tip tbh.
