I was blown away by this. The ingredient list is almost nothing. Tuna, feta, tomatoes, olive oil, and a splash of balsamic. I added a squeeze of lemon and a pinch of pepper(blasphemy I know), and the first bite was a flavor explosion. The salt of the feta hits the acid of the vinegar and the tomatoes add texture. Five ingredients doing the work of fifteen. I can see why Lynch ate it every day. It’s going straight into my rotation.

Vinaigrette-tomato tuna salad is so delicious and underrated. I make mine with sherry vinegar instead of balsamic and a handful of roughly chopped basil or parsley. I’ve never tried the David Lynch version with the feta, but I need to get around to it cause I love feta too.

I love that balsamic, used to be able to find it but cant find it anywhere! Definitely will give this a go.

I love roasting tomatoes in olive oil, then smashing them into tuna. The addition of balsamic and feta could only improve it, I will be trying it next time I have some decent bread around.
