Let us decant our prejudice. I will generally try anything once but tinned seafood seemed… unappealing. Ive worked on the water and always prefered shellfish, etc fresh.
First tin was a cheap smoked brand i had last night. Decent but underwhelming.
These were in a different league. I tried the sardinha small with buttered sourdough, shallots and one slice with capers. They were divine. In homage to TFR i did a squish test and removed a spine to eat separately hehe
Probably trying the tuna tomorrow and the porthos the next day.
Ive been reading reviews here to get an idea of what to buy and what to avoid and appreciate the wealth of knowledge 🙂
