However, 2026 will mark the year without the major Italian festival in Stamford as organizers have announced a pause for this year’s edition with plans to return in 2027.
“After a lot of thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to take a pause this year and give That’s Amore Italian Festival the time it deserves to regroup, refresh and come back bigger and better in 2027,” a post reads from the festival on Facebook. “What started as a celebration of Italian food, music and culture has become so much more. It’s become a weekend filled with family, friends, incredible local vendors, amazing food, music, laughter and a community that shows up year after year.”
“To our vendors, partners, performers and especially everyone who has made That’s Amore part of their family tradition — grazie,” the statement continues.
No dates or details have been announced regarding the 2027 edition of the That’s Amore Festival.
Typically held on Columbus Day weekend, the That’s Amore Festival is known for wide array of Italian cuisine as well as traditional Italian singer and entertainers. Last year’s festival encountered difficulties when the last day was rained out and canceled.
