It’s a good year for people who like to eat things on sticks. A popular Bay Area kebab shop is planning to open two more locations – one in Concord, the other Saratoga.
Sultan’s Kebab is scheduled to debut within two to three months at 2151 Salvio St., Concord. That address is on Todos Santos Plaza in the former space of Lima, an upscale Peruvian restaurant that closed in 2024.

Sultan’s Kebab is also planning a new outpost in Saratoga at 14554 Big Basin Way, Unit A, which will be “opening soon,” according to owner Fatih Ulas.
These two would make the Sultan’s Kebab empire number six total, with other branches in Danville, Livermore, Campbell and Pleasanton – the latter being the original, which always seems to be bustling.

“We are excited to continue growing the brand and bringing our Mediterranean cuisine to more Bay Area communities,” says Ulas, who hails from Turkey.
Both of the new locations will be open daily from 10 a.m.-10 p.m., doing both in-house and catering orders. The Concord location in particular will have a “beautiful patio and will be vibrant,” Ulas adds.
Sultan’s Kebab uses halal products to grill Turkish-style kebabs over charcoal, which are served with fresh bread or rice or even garlic-feta fries. The restaurants also offer other regional dishes, from shareable mezze to shawarma salads to baklava.
