CLEVELAND, Ohio – Luca Italian Cuisine and Acqua di Luca have been renamed.
Luca Italian Cuisine, at 2100 Superior Viaduct, is now Casa La Luna. Acqua di Luca, at 500 W. St. Clair Ave., has become Acqua di Dea.
A divorce in the ownership precipitated the changes.
Luca Italian Cuisine was the first restaurant opened in Cleveland by Luca Sema and now Lola Jacaj in 2013. Last year, the restaurant underwent a massive renovation. In 2017, Luca West was opened in Westlake, followed by Acqua di Luca in 2021. The fourth concept – Oliva, an Italian steakhouse – is slated to open soon in the former Osteria di Al.
Jacaj retains ownership of all three Cleveland restaurants while Sema will operate Luca West.
