The restaurant will officially open Monday, September 7, at the Town Center at Creekside in New Braunfels, giving locals and visitors a new option for customizable Mediterranean-inspired bowls, pitas, dips and dressings. CAVA will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The New Braunfels location is expected to employ between 25 and 40 local workers, according to a news release.
CAVA also is bringing a community component to its grand opening. The restaurant is collecting donations for the San Antonio Food Bank and will match donations up to $1,000. The effort is part of CAVA’s Community Day program, which the company says has raised more than $1 million since 2019, according to the release.
The opening has been in the works for more than a year. MySA first reported in July 2025 that CAVA was planning a nearly 2,850-square-foot restaurant at the New Braunfels shopping center. At the time, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation records listed the project at an estimated $1.6 million.
CAVA’s arrival in New Braunfels also expands the chain’s presence along the Austin-San Antonio corridor. The company already has a location at Schertz Station, the 72-acre mixed-use development at I-35 and Cibolo Valley Drive in Schertz. The project has become a growing dining and retail destination, with national brands including Portillo’s, Dave’s Hot Chicken and Panera Bread.
