The restaurant specializes in Neapolitan pizza baked in a traditional wood-fired oven. Its menu also features Italian favorites including burrata, bruschetta di polenta, and insalata arugula.

Pizzeria Rustica says its pizza stands out because of its cooking techniques and commitment to making food from scratch. The kitchen uses certified techniques taught in Italy and focuses on high-quality ingredients.
“From the ingredients to the pizza-making process, we try to replicate authentic Italian cooking methods as closely as possible,” General Manager Justine Eberhart said. “Our attention to detail and focus on making everything from scratch while utilizing only high-quality ingredients is what sets our pies apart from the rest.”

The restaurant chooses a different local charity each month to promote at its dinners, and a portion of all the proceeds goes directly to the charity.
They also offer multiple event spaces for upcoming family or company events and holiday parties. This winter season, Pizzeria Rustica’s patio will be fully insulated and available for bookings.
Pizzeria Rustica is located at 2527 W. Colorado Avenue in Old Colorado City.
