Fill-A-Pita Mediterranean Grill, a restaurant owned by Sultan Frehat, a 22-year-old Jordanian American, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting on Wednesday, Sept. 9.

After Frehat, Homewood Mayor Rich Hofeld and other village officials cut the blue ribbon, attendees enjoyed free samples of Fill-A-Pita’s food. The samples included pita bread, hummus, fries and falafel.
