Has anyone grown beets like this one ..It popped up in a variety pack of beet seeds we grew this year . It’s the only one out of two rows of red and sugar of varying sizes that looked like this .

If you’re looking for more seeds they’re called Chioggia beets

Yep, they are pretty. Beets come in way more variety than we’re used to. The only difference is that the pigment causing chemicals are the antioxidants that some people specifically eat beets for, so red beets are a little better for antioxidants, but other beets are still pretty good and have a good effect on inflammation.
I prefer golden beets just because of the staining. Red beets are earthier and lighter beets can read a little sweeter.

Chioggia beets! Cut them horizontally and you’ll see the red and white in rings. They’re really pretty and sweet.

Yup! Chioggia beets. They look fun in a salad! These were mine a few years ago.
Also called a “Guardsmark” beet because they look like a target

Yes! And I argued with my MIL and husband about whether or not they were radishes or beets. I knew they were beets!

I worked with a chef who had the best use of these if you can eat bread and cheese – these beets roasted & thinly sliced with burrata cheeseand argula that was all topped with lemon juice, olive oil, s&p. Served with toasted bread ✨ so tasty
