That’s a dam good idea
Yup. Joined a place with no chef and they were getting all the bad product. I know for a fact they were dumping it again on any restaurant that didn’t complain
at least they had the decency to write “damaged” on the box, most suppliers just slap tape over the crime scene and hope you won’t notice

My suppliers have never picked up extra/wrong/damaged orders.
They just tell me to toss it/use what I can and credit our account.
The logistics involved to pick up shitty product, reseal, and sell it to someone else must be nuts.
