As a formee Montrealer , I give this a 9/10. Never thought new West would be the place to get solid poutine in the GVA

It’s not in front of me so I docked a point.

  2. Pountine. Pountine. PoUNTinE. POUnTIIIIEIIIne.

I’m beggin’ of you, please get in my mouth.

God it looks great. I’m in Montréal and some poutines here don’t look this good

  4. Anny’s is poutine heaven, I’m so happy it’s local. The maple twists slap on a hot summer day too

As an American largely unfamiliar with Canadian accomplishments, I find it hard to believe your country has any greater achievement than creating this dish. This comment is not intended to be Canadian slander, but rather the highest praise for poutine.

  6. That’s a proper poutine. Hard to find in BC.

Oh yeah. Anny’s. And great that you catch her before she head back to Quebec for the Winter.

For people outside of region: “New Westminister” is basically Vancouver to you guys, since we don’t do amalgamation, so each place is its own city in terms of legal boundary. But for day to day, it’s basically the same as borough/ward in practice. 30 minutes away from Downtown Vancouver.

Looks like Costco’s poutine at first glance

I’m not sure any poutine outside Quebec deserves a 10/10. But it sure looks the part.

It’s always wild to see Anny’s mentioned on non-local subreddits. She deserves all the love.

  11. Oh man, I miss poutine so much. If I had stayed in Canada, I would probably weigh twice as much and have had 3 bypass operations already because I couldn’t stop eating poutine. Where I am currently (New Zealand), there just isn’t any good poutine option available.

This looks, and almost smells, like a proper one! Hope there’s enough gravy that it slithers all the way down to the fries in the bottom

Can confirm, this is what a proper poutine looks like, barnak.

Crazy to see Annie’s on Reddit, but it is well deserved! 5 star poutine.

    BC… authentic.

No, you didn’t eat authentic poutine.

Never heard of Poutine until spending some time in Quebec City/Montreal after a cruise. Couldn’t get enough of it and now have a hard time finding it in the South central US.

I was ready to be mad based on the misspelling in the title, but that looks like a truly delicious poutine!

Whenever I see pictures of this dish it reminds me of gigantic tonsil stones
