I ordered this delicious mixed seafood platter in Venice. I cannot figure out what the small, white gnocchi shaped seafood item at the top back of the plate is. It had a dense consistency, almost like a liver. Google images did not help. Any insights? I would like to find it and attempt a recipe.

They could be cuttlefish gnocchi or real gnocchetti alla veneziana
Sono uova di seppia (cuttlefish eggs). È tradizione metterle nell’ antipasto misto bollito di pesce a Venezia e limitrofi.
