Damn! I’m surprised how much hotter this is than the original.

I really have to pick some of this up… this would be so awesome on fried catfish or chicken. Yummy

What else have you had you would compare the heat to? I love tons of Crystal or Louisiana on catfish

Just read the label. It’s made with aged habanero. That explains why it’s so much hotter

It’s the hottest ā€œhotterā€ sauce of any of the big brands I’ve tried. I like it a lot. It’s in that sweet spot for me where it packs heat that I feel, but isn’t quite enough to slow me down as I’m eating. I estimated it as around the same heat as Melinda’s Ghost pepper sauce or whatever the black label is although it’s possible it’s even hotter.

It’s got some kick to it for sure. I went to a party where the theme was Caesar Party, Caesar the drink like a blood Mary kind of. I brought a bottle of this a placed it on the table as a joke, everyone’s mouths were burning lol. Wouldn’t do that now, but I was younger at the time and thought it was funny.

I haven’t seen that one! Now I have to try it! Thank you for posting it!

My local Cajun restaurant has this. It’s so good. Worth trying for sure!

The concept behind this sounds good considering I find hotter versions of Valentina, Cholula, and Frank’s to be such failures because they are basically just more concentrated versions of the same sauce.

A simple Habanero sauce that goes good on everything. And IT’S ONLY 2 BUCKS!!

It’s a shame the major classic players (Crystal, Texas Pete, Frank’s) all use extract to achieve ā€œhotterā€ status, they all use basically the same recipe. I am willing to bet Louisiana does the same.Ā

Edit: Louisiana does NOT use extract: salt, vinegar, aged habaneros. Well done, Louisiana. I will look for this one at the store:Ā
