Last summer my Fiancée and I got an ice cream maker. After making a few batches for ourselves, we had the idea to throw a party where we create a wacky (mostly) ice cream tasting menu with drink pairings like you would get at a fancy restaurant tasting menu.
It was a big hit and this year we ran it back with a slightly bigger guest list and plan to make it a yearly end of summer tradition moving forward.
We didn’t get a photo of it but the “???? Vs ????” Dish on the 2026 menu was a beanboozled style course/game where we walked around with 2 quarts of ice cream that looked almost identical and had people choose which one they wanted without telling them the flavors. One was Chicken Wing (Franks red hot + Blue cheese) and the other was blood orange creamsicle.
