I gotta say, though, if you want to tell your wife what some dude on Reddit said, that the orange one will be more disappointing than the purple one. The problem is that the pie looks delicious, but then you eat it and it doesn’t taste how it looks because the orange is just food coloring, not flavor. I recommend finding something with flavor to color the pies. Or just use turmeric and anatto, I guess, but add some orange zest as well (I’m assuming these are meant to be sweet pies; if not, the answer is orange-colored cheddar).
That looks like zombie skin! Slap some of that on as a crust and vent it with stitches and it would be so cute!
Do green next and call it “zombie scoops” or something.
I think purple would work much better as an unbaked cheesecake or pudding filling in a pre-baked crust!
