Had been considering getting a dual boiler machine for a while that had commercial capabilities. Finally went with the La Spaziale s1 Vivaldi 2 despite previously having my reservations about it. Particularly in terms of design and the 53mm portafilter. Ultimately I went full circle and upon my research found no machine for the price. The design grew on me eventually and I actually already use a 53mm with the Bambino, so not being 58mm isn't an issue for me. I actually prefer the deeper pucks.

I feel this machine is at the perfect price point right at the threshold of diminishing returns. Absolutely well packaged for what you pay for.

If anyone's interested I'd be happy to list out my personal criteria for choosing this machine.

Let me know your thoughts.

Worth every penny. It might be an ugly duckling, but you’re getting commercial-grade performance for half the cost.

This machine is an incredible value. It’s what I would have if I had the space on my coffee bar. I just attended a conference and they had a few carts throughout the venue with these machines.

  3. Hi! I’m in a similar position as I had the Bambino for some years now. What were your criteria for choosing this machine?
