Lotte Department Store Liquor Buyer has been knighted in French wine. Lotte Department Store announced on the 6th that Choi Joon-ho, a buyer of the wine & liquor team, received the “Jurade de Saint-Emilion,” a wine knighthood in Saint-Emilion, France, last month.

The Jurad de Saint-Temillion is a traditional wine knight in the French region of Saint-Temillion, founded in 1199, abolished after the French Revolution and rebuilt in 1948 to inherit the tradition. Choi has introduced about 700 kinds of French wines since 2021, and about 800,000 bottles of French wine have been sold at Lotte Department Store over the past five years.
