ASK Italian is bringing the flavours of Southern Italy to the table this autumn with a fiery new menu packed with Calabrian spice, comforting classics, limited-edition dishes and plenty of options for sharing.

As the weather gets cooler and autumn dining season gets into full swing, ASK Italian is turning up the heat with its latest seasonal menu.

Inspired by the vibrant flavours of Calabria in Southern Italy, the new autumn line-up combines sweet chilli heat with generous comfort food, hand-stretched pizzas and playful twists on some much-loved Italian favourites.

The new dishes are available at ASK Italian restaurants across the UK from 6 October, with several limited-edition specials arriving throughout October and November.

A Taste of Calabria Comes to ASK Italian!

The new menu takes inspiration from Calabria, a region known for its bold flavours and love of chilli.

Starting things off are two new sharing-friendly starters. The Mozzarella Fritti Sticks are crispy-coated mozzarella sticks finished with hot honey, riserva cheese and parsley, designed to be pulled apart and dipped at the centre of the table.

For a vegetable-led option, the Calabrian Cauli Bites put an Italian spin on the classic cauliflower wing. The crispy cauliflower is tossed in sweet Calabrian chilli honey and served with spicy chilli mayo for an extra kick.

New Calabrian-Inspired Pizzas!

ASK Italian is also giving its signature 14-inch hand-stretched pizzas a spicy Southern Italian makeover.

The new Pollo Piccante Pizza is loaded with Calabrian-spiced chicken, roasted red peppers and balsamic onions, before being finished with fresh stracciatella, hot honey and basil.

Meanwhile, vegetarians can try the Capra Calabrese Pizza, which combines creamy goat’s cheese and roasted red peppers with fiery Calabrian chilli paste, hot honey and fresh basil.

Both pizzas are made using ASK Italian’s dough, which is produced with 100% Wildfarmed regenerative flour.

The restaurant says the flour helps support British farmers while bringing a more planet-conscious approach to its pizza-making.

Lasagne Garlic Bread Is Here for a Limited Time!

If you’re looking for something a little more indulgent, ASK Italian has a particularly playful dish arriving this month.

Available from 6 to 22 October, the Lasagne Garlic Bread combines two Italian comfort food favourites in one seriously cheesy creation.

The stone-baked Wildfarmed garlic bread crust is filled with rich beef and red wine ragù, creamy béchamel sauce and melted mozzarella.

Essentially, it’s lasagne — but inside garlic bread.

The limited-edition dish is designed for sharing and looks set to be one of the more unusual additions to ASK Italian’s autumn menu.

Spicy Chicken Crocchettes Make a Comeback!

Also returning by popular demand are the Spicy Chicken Crocchettes.

Available from 6 October until 16 November, the crispy bites are filled with spicy chicken, piquillo peppers, pancetta and potato before being coated in golden breadcrumbs.

They’re served alongside spicy chilli mayo, making them another option for diners who want to add some heat to their meal.

Save Room for the S’mores Dessert Pizza!

Autumn wouldn’t be complete without a suitably indulgent dessert, and ASK Italian is getting into the Halloween and Bonfire Night spirit with its new S’mores Dessert Pizza.

Launching on 23 October and available until 16 November, the sharing dessert transforms Wildfarmed pizza dough into a giant sweet treat.

The pizza is topped with toasted marshmallows, Biscoff crumb, vanilla gelato and chocolate sauce, creating a warm, gooey centre designed for tearing, dipping and sharing.

With Halloween, Bonfire Night and half term all falling within its availability window, it’s positioned as a particularly family-friendly way to finish a meal.

A Lighter Option: Gusto Salad

For anyone looking for something a little lighter while still keeping plenty of flavour on the plate, ASK Italian is also introducing its Gusto Salad.

The dish combines creamy goat’s cheese, warm mixed grains, roasted sweet potato and chickpeas with sweet mustard and smoky chilli dressings.

It’s a more balanced option that still brings some of the bold flavours running throughout the new autumn menu.

Kids Eat Free This October!

ASK Italian is also making its autumn menu a little more appealing for families during half term.

From 9 to 31 October, parents can claim up to two free three-course kids’ meals, including a babyccino, for every adult main course ordered.

That makes the offer particularly useful for families looking to enjoy a meal out during the October half-term without the bill getting quite as fiery as the food.
