German still wine sales in Russia rise 7.2% in first eight months

Sales of German still wine in Russia rose 7.2% in the first eight months of 2026 to 797,000 decalitres.

Germany was one of three major wine suppliers to Russia to record an increase in sales during the period, Kommersant reported, citing data from alcohol market participants.

Wine supplies from Chile rose 28.4% to 1.81 million decalitres, while those from South Africa increased 8.9% to 1.28 million decalitres.
