Williamsport, Pa. — Tag’s Foods has partnered with Delivered Fresh, an online year-round farmers market, to deliver its handmade Italian specialties to customers across northcentral and northeastern Pa. and southern New York.
The delivery region includes communities north to Binghamton and Corning, N.Y., west to Wellsboro, east to Tunkhannock, and south to the Williamsport area, including Mansfield, Sayre, Montrose, and Sullivan County’s communities, according to the announcement.
“For years, people have asked us how they can get Tag’s products when they don’t live nearby or can’t make it into the store,” said Alivia Tagliaferri, owner of Tag’s Foods. “This partnership gives us an opportunity to reach more families while continuing to make our food the way we always have — right here in our Williamsport kitchen, using our family recipes and the same care and tradition that have defined Tag’s for generations.”
Tag’s Original Sauce is based on a Tagliaferri and Taddeo family recipe. Through Delivered Fresh, customers can also order meatballs, lasagna, chicken Parmesan, and handmade pastas such as gnocchi and fettuccine, the company said.
Delivered Fresh is owned and operated by William and Jennifer Labor. It connects customers with products from local farms, food makers, and small businesses and delivers orders to homes and businesses.
“One of the things we love about Delivered Fresh is making it easier for people to shop local by bringing products from local farms and food makers together in one place and delivering them right to their door,” William and Jennifer Labor said. “Tag’s is exactly the kind of local food maker we’re excited to partner with.”
Tag’s Foods prepares products in small batches at its Williamsport kitchen. Customers can still buy Tag’s products at Tag’s Take Out & Italian Specialty Store, 1116 Market St., Williamsport, during scheduled Tag’s events and pop-ups, and order through Delivered Fresh for home delivery.
