this happened to a small independent BBQ place near me in the UK and unfortunately drove them out of business in the end

They did exactly the same to me. And you know it was ok. I got my money just had to jump on the phone and speak to the escalation team and resolve the issue.
They owed my little restaurant $12,000…
The problem was someone tried to switch up the bank account, like an outside person. So I mean they did the prudent thing and suspended the payout.
I missed the initial email they sent regarding this… so idk I think it’s fine and OP is gonna get their money.
