Smoked Deviled Eggs!
Combined two recipes from hey grill hey and Traeger
Hardboiled the eggs, peeled, sliced, seasoned and put on smoke for 45 mins. Took off, pulled the yolks and made the filling and piped em in.
Some bites came out rubbery and were not enjoyable and my wife said they smelled like a tire and that’s all I could smell after.
Idea was solid but maybe it was something with my execution? Open for tips!
Filling
Yolks
1 cup mayo
2 tsp mustard
.5 tsp chili powder
.5 tsp paprika
2 slices of bacon chopped
I used meat church holy gospel for half and meat church blanco for the other half and seasoned after peeling.

How was the sausage? I like to boil it first to get some salt out of it then score it
One year at Thanksgiving my cousin ate so many deviled eggs he projectile vomited onto the TV and general living room area of my aunts house. Haven’t been able to touch one since.
Same thing happened to me when i made them in a similar way
