PUNXSUTAWNEY — There may finally be activity in the old Movie Gallery building, as Domino’s Pizza was approved to set up in one half of that building by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
Rich Alexander, Punxsutawney Planning and Zoning Commission, said they had tabled the request at the first meeting.
Alexander said that the franchise holder for Domino’s has requested to have the existing building split into two halves.
Alexander said they gave permission for that change in the structure where they plan to put the fast food pizza parlor, focusing on take-out.
The property is split between Advance Auto Parts and Domino’s in one half of the Movie Gallery building.
Planning and Zoning voted to send the changes to Punxsutawney Borough Council for their approval.
