New 8,000-square-foot dining destination brings six Italian culinary concepts, a specialty market, and a full-service bar to the heart of Coral Gables.
Coral Gables has welcomed a new dining destination with the opening of Zuccaly, the city’s first Italian food hall, located at The Plaza Coral Gables.
The 8,000-square-foot concept, developed by Da Silva Hospitality Group, brings together six Italian culinary stations, a specialty market, and a full-service bar under one roof. Designed to capture the spirit of Italy’s vibrant piazzas, Zuccaly offers everything from freshly made pasta and artisanal pizza to grilled seafood, Italian desserts, and specialty cocktails.
The opening marks another milestone for Da Silva Hospitality Group, the family-owned hospitality company behind Coral Gables’ popular Italian restaurant Zucca and Miami’s historic Hereford Grill. The new venture is expected to create approximately 120 local jobs.
“Zuccaly was born from the vision of creating a true Italian gastronomic ecosystem under one roof, guided by a shared philosophy of hospitality,” said Erasmo da Silva, CEO and owner of Da Silva Hospitality Group.
Six Italian Culinary Experiences Under One Roof
Leading Zuccaly’s culinary program is Corporate Chef Manuel Garcia, who has overseen the kitchen at Zucca for nine years and previously worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in France.
The food hall features six distinct culinary concepts, each showcasing different elements of Italian cuisine.
At LaBiga Pizza and Focaccia, guests can enjoy artisanal pizzas prepared using a six-day fermentation process designed to create a light, airy crust with a crispy finish. The station also serves traditional Roman-style pizza al taglio.
The Pasta and Risotto station specializes in freshly made pasta and traditional risotto dishes, while Grilling Steaks and Fish offers premium cuts of meat and seafood prepared over charcoal and live fire.
For lighter fare, Il Giardino serves fresh salads, seasonal dishes, and Italian street-food specialties.
PortaVia Gastro Market functions as a specialty Italian deli and grab-and-go counter, featuring items such as Wagyu carpaccio, fresh burrata, house-made sauces, lasagna, and cannelloni.
Rounding out the experience is Dolci, where visitors can indulge in house-made gelato and traditional Italian desserts, including tiramisu, bomboloni, cornetti, and crostate.
A New Gathering Place in Coral Gables
Inspired by the Tuscan countryside, Zuccaly’s 200-seat indoor-outdoor space features warm yellows, earthy oranges, and deep greens, complemented by open cooking stations and visible ovens.
The venue was designed to accommodate everything from casual coffee breaks and business lunches to family dinners and evening gatherings.
A central bar serves classic Italian cocktails, including Negronis, Americanos, and Spritzes, alongside wines and espresso-based beverages.
Zuccaly also offers weekday happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, featuring half-price beverages across its entire drink menu.
“We wanted to create more than a dining destination—a place where people can come together, connect, and enjoy the simple pleasure of sharing good food and good company,” da Silva said.
With its combination of Italian culinary traditions, contemporary design, and social atmosphere, Zuccaly adds a new dining and gathering option to Coral Gables’ growing restaurant scene.
