  1. This is great thank you. I am in Tulsa and just set up my first garden — four 4' x 4' raised beds (17.5" tall). I have recently planted/sown: 4 lettuces, pole beans, pole snow peas, pickling cucumbers, basil, chives, sage, french tarragon, dill, spinach, zucchini, rutabega, beats, turnips, four varieties of radish (wow they grow fast).. also planted like 32 bulbs from store bought green onions.

Are there any resources in Tulsa? OSU Extension is out in Oklahoma City if I recall. Can I get my soil tested there for $10 if I mail it?

Are there any gardening clubs here in Oklahoma? Like to trade Heirloom seeds etc. Would be nice to get varieties of plants which grow particularly well in our climate. I have bought lots of seeds online from ebay but most of them are from Texas, east coast, Florida.. hope they grow well!
