Notes: medium purple color; nose of ripe red cherry, strawberry, and cotton candy; tastes of red cherry and pepper; light bodied and highly acidic; not a special wine (it’s not supposed to be), but it did get better with food — especially Swiss cheese; at $10-15 USD, it’s a fun, guiltless purchase, but I’d almost always be happier spending $5-15 more to get Cru Beaujolais; 3.6 out of 5
