I have snails and slugs in my garden but I rarely get damage from them. Baited slug and snail pellets with either sulfur or iron phosphate will kill them and greatly, if not fully, reduce garden plant damage. The key is to start using the baits when temperatures reach 40 F or 4.5 C.

How do I keep grubs out of my fabric grow bags?????
Last year I got some wool pellets for slugs and it worked pretty well in deterring slugs. Plus it is a nice mulch and will ultimately break down and enrich your soli. However they seem to be more available in the UK rather than here and I can't find a source. I am a little nervous about using baits, but I am willing to give it a try to save my leafy plants this year.

Is slug bait safe for firefly larvae? That's always my biggest worry

Okay, I found a Slug and Snail killer video of yours from 2013. That one you talk about Natria….. So….. which is the BEST, without hurting my soil, plants, animals or the good insects??? I get large snails by the THOUSANDS! Powders are gone after watering.

I have had a ton of success by sprinkling the bait on my concrete patio after my sprinklers go off at night. They love the concrete since it holds heat and my sprinklers make them want to come out. I sprinkle it in the bushes and in the dark damp areas of my garden too but when I started sprinkling the bait on the damp concrete it was like over night I never had a problem again, except for the dozens of snail shells I had to clean up.
Unfortunately I live right next to a meadow/forest and any slugs I kill will just get replaced by new ones. The only thing I’ve found that works is using mesh on top of my green
Table salt is what we normally use to get rid of snails and slugs. Pour salt on them it melts them right before your very eyes. It's awful but that's how we would eliminate them in jamaica 🇯🇲. Salt dries them out
Do you know if this safe to have out if you have outdoor cat or dog?
Is Insecticidal soap from natural guard good to use?
I will definitely do this early next year. They are in sunflowers and pinto bean plants. Plus I have my compost bin next to those two

For me, it is more like 9 months ugggh. They destroyed my garden. Now I have pellets! Thank you! Hopefully I will do better next year.
Is Ferric sodium EDTA the same as iron phosphate? Can this substitute for that?
