The vegetable garden is all planted and its time to give you a look around.
I have over 30 types of vegetables and fruit growing in my garden. Many of these have several varieties of each sown.

I garden in Zone 3 Saskatchewan, Canada. I have an average of 110 frost free days in a year. Most of the food I grow is in raised beds and some is grown in containers. I use a drip watering system for most of the plants.

  1. Have ever tried any powders for organic gardens to help control the flee Beatles? I've found a product from Bonide called Captain Jack's deafbug. It works great on my garden.

  2. Your potatoes are looking great! I, also, had a potato peeling to come up. I'm going to leave it, just to see what it will do. Your peppers and tomatoes are doing fantastic. It's interesting to see the difference in your climate and mine. I'm battling spider mites right now. They got the jump on me before I even realized!

  3. Hi I remember the pots last season with potateos do like what you have done with them this year , you have a awesome amount growing there to feed you and your family. Stay safe Bill and Val

  4. Things are looking great for your garden mine is doing good were getting to much rain here hopefully we get some more hot days soon to dry it up a little, Have a great day!!!

  5. Enjoying the garden tour as I take a lunch break from working in mine. Good to see the successes you are having.
    Take care and stay safe,
    Rob

  6. Hi PPG, Your growing area is looking good, Plenty of potatoes the varieties must be Canadian not heard of them before, You are certainly right about the crazy weather we all have had to put up with, I have not managed to grow a cucumber yet it's crazy, Take care and stay safe and I'll catch you on the next one.

  7. Oh, those lovely pots again. I wish I could find someone like that. You have planted a lot since last time.
So nice tomato bed. You must be pleased with those. Sad to see the damages from the flee beatles. They have ruin my rocket.
Lots of potatoes👍. I’m looking forward to watch your potato harvest.
Thanks for the tour. Have a nice weekend.

  8. I feel the weather is the same in NS. It took a long time to warm up, we had almost 2 weeks of warm weather with no rain, now it’s cool and rainy again. I direct-sowed some bush beans but only half came up!

  9. Your garden looks amazing, thanks for the update! Certainly can tell you spend time taking care of it. I have trouble during the summer months here in Arizona growing, it's a big learning curve for me still when the temperature gets real hot. Shalom Tom

  10. Your garden looks great so far!😀. Is there anything you’ve done to combat the flea beatle? I had bean plants coming up and they just got mowed down in days. So disappointing. I suppose it is irrelevant for me since we had a horrendous thunder storm last night and gardens were flattened under golf ball size hail. I think I can replant some tomatoes like Manitoba and sub arctic, but the pepper plants are toast. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ there’s nothing like starting over from scratch! So fun. I just love it. It’s a bit like smacking ones thumb with a hammer. If I’m turning a frown upside down,at least I can plant green beans in pots and plant them out later this month. Might be time to get a few beans at least this summer!

  11. Place is coming along very well, it doesn’t seem like too long ago since many of the beds were planted up. The cabbages are great, potatoes too. Hope the flea beetle doesn’t do too much damage. Rabbit !! All the best, Hugh 🌿😊👍🏼

  12. I am going to try some neem oil on my square foot gardening beds to see if it stops the flea beetle on my radishes. One variety of cucumbers hasn't done well this year, but last year was my best, we have lots to deal with.

    ♻️🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.

  13. I love the vision of squash and melons vining up the trellises and spilling over the pots. The garden looks beautiful and full of a nice variety. Very enjoyable look around at everything.

  14. Your tomatoes look so great. Those pots will be beautiful. Your garden is looking full and green. I can't get cucumbers to grow here. Your Brussels sprout looks good.

  15. Just come across your channel – you have a nice looking garden. I am in the process of building raised beds for my first garden in about 8 years. I want to start with some potatoes. I have subbed to follow along with your channel. We have a small family homestead in NE Florida. If you get a chance, check out our channel and consider subscribing.
