Jersey has about the same size Jewish population as NY, so we have tons of great Jewish delis.
Hobby’s in Newark (pronounced Nork), has been around since I think the 60s. Always killer food, and great owners.
The Devils moved to Newark a decade ago and their arena is like a block from the deli, so it’s a great pregame option. They were closed since the pandemic then caught fire, but finally recently reopened. Hasn’t missed a beat!
