My son’s 5th birthday cake. He’s obsessed with dinosaurs so I did a fossil cake. I’m not much of a decorator so this is involved for me.


The boulders are made of chocolate. I’ve seen small chocolate rocks but happened join these at the craft store. Third picture has the army of undead dinos after their war. Herbivores won.

    Are the fossils edible? Are there more “buried” in the cake? It looks great either way but that would all make it amazing.

    That’s really cute, I would have buried a bunch in a plain “dirt” cake so you can actually excavate them 😂
