Summer harvests are rampant. But we need to have things in place for the autumn and winter months to harvest.

July has seen temperatures quite cool for us. In this video, we’re going to be transitioning our vegetable garden from summer plants to winter plants – without any digging! We plant out our purple sprouting broccoli, calabrese, beetroot and turnips for a autumn/ winter harvest

We’ll show you how to succession plant your vegetables so that you get the most out of your garden’s resources, and stay healthy and happy all winter long!

Welcome to the No Dig Norfolk Gardener and our no dig/no till garden where we grow vegetables. We garden in zone 9a. Although we grow our veg from our back garden it is very much set up like allotment gardening UK – allotment life. Our passion is vegetable gardening, bigger harvests and no dig gardening. You will see how growing your own food is so easy.

  1. I’m new to growing vegetables and my first crop of radishes had flea beetle damage – what do you do if this occurs please ?

  2. I sowed sprouting broccoli ages ago, it is about a foot tall, theres no signs of my onions coming out, i know it was August when i harvested last year. Do you think its worth re-sowing now? This weather is mad, we have had nothing but rain in Yorkshire too! Its my oaths that need weeding not the beds, ive made an executive decision, the woodchip is coming up, im doing it bit by bit and adding to the compost bin, most is well broken down and already soil! Take care thanks for shary😊

  3. I’ve had problems with my turnip/ Swede and radish’s being damaged by some sort of worm/ maggot any ideas?
