I got this salsa yesterday, because they were out of my usual brand, it’s good, but literally has no spice, not even a slight kick. Could I add something to it to give it a little something, without ruining the taste?

You surely can…a pinch of superhot powder is something I often add to sauces that need some heat.

Ill get say a quarter bottle of girly sauce and put in blender with my home grown chillies and what not turn it in to man sauce and pour back into bottle. Man sauce err than don’t sound right . Non girly sauce

  4. Whenever I buy a salsa that isn’t spicy, I usually buy some Serrano or habaneros(if available), and I chop them up and mix it in the salsa.

Add a tsp of spontaneous combustion sauce, mix well!

Add Tabasco or a couple teaspoons of your favorite hot sauce.

Literally the easiest and probably the tastiest way would be to chop up a few fresh habanero and throw them in there, let it sit for a day or so in your fridge, and I guarantee it’ll be what you’re looking for.

    There is always a way.

Add about 20 drops (or less) of Tabasco Scorpion hot sauce. It will add both flavor and the desired heat. You will love it…..

  9. A minced scotch bonnet would be great. When I think of spice in the Caribbean, I think of those guys.

Dried thai chilis will spice anything up. You can toast them for some smoky flavor as well, and mixes well I think with sweet sauces
