Couldn’t find anything spicy enough in my city. Had to grow my own reapers 🙂 This was the prettiest one of the crop. They’re the tastiest, spiciest (duh) peppers I’ve eaten hands down.

That looks awesome! They can take as long as 5-6 months to grow, is that correct?
(Edit to add that I just ate 2 slices of some Reaper Peppers this afternoon. )

I grew a bunch last year. I still have about thirty dried peppers. They are just too hot to do anything with. Literally. I can’t find any practical use for them.

I blend several reapers into buttermilk then soak chicken in it overnight then dredge chicken then make a batter out of the leftover buttermilk and dip chicken back in then fry. Awesome chicken!!!
