The whole set costs about 110$ and I wonder if it’s worth it to try it out. I only know the Da Bomb

  1. Da Bomb is nasty, not worth buying. Scorpion Disco and Heartbeat sauce are good though. Haven’t tried the others.

The Dawson’s Shawarma is so good my wife and I buy 3-4 bottles at a time.

  3. TUskillz05

Aardvark and dicks are my two favorite sauces. Doesn’t seem like a bad price for the set if you are looking to try new things but you’ll probably only find 5 to be worth using consistently.

  4. The3WiseMenses

Dirty Dick’s is great. Just the right amount of heat imo and a great flavor, though it might not work on every food.

  5. socialscientiststory

I’ve finished 4 bottles of da bomb because I’m a masochist apparently.

  6. EULA-Reader

Aardvark I buy 6 at a time. Heartbeat and queens are quite good. Tapatio is good, but like $3 at any supermarket. Da bomb is a prank extract sauce.

  7. Throwaway2urwitcher

Fiery fool was good, but get fear this instead, it’s much better. Dirty dicks is also good, but expensive for such a tiny bottle

  8. Secret aardvark red is a great daily hot sauce

  9. MysticMarbles

Aardvark is amazing. Tapatio is cheap and found everywhere (but really good).

Some real fails in that though.

  10. Tired-and-Wired

Queens Majesty and Bravado are excellent. Very hot, but still so flavorful

  11. Charming-Milk6765

Tapatio is delightful as a condiment for Mexican and Tex-Mex food, but it’s more sweet and pungent than spicy. Dirty Dick’s is pretty good and has nice bright notes under the heat. As someone else said, da bomb is a gimmick sauce that isn’t actually very tasty. Just real hot.

  12. Get their Apollo sauce if you can. It’s so damn good

  13. Beckabeckabecka

Heartbeat hotsauce has a great flavor. I’ve personally only tried their mango habanero, but it’s delicious! Sometimes I like a break from screaming hot and I like to just enjoy the flavour; this is a great option for that.

Have not had the 2nd from the left or that specific Heartbeat sauce, but otherwise here goes and I’ll rate them out of 10 not on heat but just generally how good they are.

Tapatio’s a great daily driver vinegary mild red pepper sauce. Sort of thing you can just douse whatever in. I view it as a better Cholula. 7/10.

Secret Aardvark is a lot of people’s jam – I think it’s rather tasty but I’m generally not huge on tomato-based hot sauces, so it’s not something I keep in rotation. Also mild, pretty good. 6/10.

That coffee Queen Majesty is awesome. Everything by them is awesome. Their scotch bonnet ginger sauce is what I use for salad dressing. It’s very unique tasting, little hotter than the previous 2 but definitely not a scorcher. 8.5/10

Dirty Dick’s may very well be my favorite not-so-hot hot sauce. It’s raisin and banana flavored and I’ve never had anything else like it and the first time I got a bottle I drank half of it. It’s very sweet but super well balanced and generally just a delicious unique sauce. 10/10.

Bravado Black Garlic Reaper may be the sauce I’ve had the most out of any hot sauce in the last 2 years. I use it as the base for a spicy ramen that I make weekly and is my wife’s favorite sauce, and it packs a pretty decent punch (significantly hotter than the others I’ve rated thus far) and tastes fantastic. Definitely has a right in your face burn too. 9.5/10.

Da bomb is battery acid. Hot battery acid. 1.5/10 (.5 for being legitimately hot, no other redeeming qualities).

Karma’s scorpion disco is legitimately a scorcher and is a very dark, full bodied kind of sauce. Karma’s from my hometown so I really like gassing them up. I don’t like scorpion sauces too much in general just not a huge fan of scorpion flavor, and this sauce definitely tastes like that otherwise I’d rate it higher. It’s also one of their probably 3 hottest sauces (Ashes 2 Ashes by them is satanically hot for a non extract sauce). 6.5/10.

Hellfire’s Firey Fool was the first ludicrously hot non extract sauce I ever tried years ago. It basically tastes like a spoonful of super hots. Which hell, I’m into and prefer a lot more than extract sauces. That being said it’s got a tomato base I believe which again I don’t love, and if you don’t have a supreme heat tolerance it’s going to taste like just fire. If you’re one who likes silly-hot, it really does have that pepper-forward flavor and doesn’t dress it up too too much which I appreciate. 7.5/10.

    Happy hunting!

  15. 1. Tapatio is just your basic Mexican red hot sauce
    2. Never tried it
    3. Super yummy, usually have some in the fridge
    4. I’ve tried the brand, not that one specifically. Interesting and tasty, but wouldn’t buy again
    5. Never tried it
    6. Never tried it
    7. Never tried it
    8. Disgusting. It’s not the crazy spice that’s the problem, it’s just a nasty flavor
    9. Never tried it
    10. Never tried it

Secret aardvark.. I go through gallons of this stuff by myself. It’s dangerously tasty and the perfect amount of spice – can go on everything. The queen majesty one is also fantastic. It’s a match made in heaven on steak tacos and one of the most unique flavors I’ve had in a hot sauce. If you’re looking for two that have a great balance of flavor and spice, these two are my favorite go tos of all time.

  17. NotNotAVirus

    1. Good every day mild sauce, I prefer it to Cholula.
    2. Very good, also mild.
    3. GOAT ketchup. Always in stock in my house.
    4. Meh? Not a fan of Queen Majesty. This one is better than the ginger scotch bonnet though. If you’re not looking for coffee flavor, there are plenty of good red habanero sauces out there.
    5. I always have a bottle of Dirty Dick’s on hand. My go-to tropical hot sauce.
    6. Not my favorite scorpion sauce but very solid. If you’re looking for an awesome scorpion sauce, I recommend Matouk’s.
    7. This shit is awesome on pasta.
    8. Gimmick. Hard pass.
    9. Haven’t had it.
    10. This one is good, and has solid heat, but I prefer the Devil’s Gold, Pure Hell, and Fear This.

  18. MacNuttyOne

The one in the middle, Dirty Dick’s Hot Sauce is my current favourite especially with beans of any description and a variety of Mexican dishes, yeah though it is Not a Mexican style sauce. It has strong tropical fruity notes and heat on the high end of medium, by my tastes.

  19. Heyhoser26

Aardvark is one of the best habanero sauces around.it’s about $7 where I live. Tapatio grows on trees. It would be expensive at $4. The rest look gorgeous.

  20. ATaxiNumber1729

Tapatío: solid, common sauce. Cholula and Valentina are in a similar vain. I like them all but Tapatío might be best

Dawson’s: never had it but want to try. I’d like to hear what you think.

Aardvark: needs no introduction. Very good, I always have some.

Queen majesty: another brand I’ve never tried. Have heard mixed things

Dirty Dick’s: haven’t had, heard it’s pretty good

Heartbeat: never had the scorpion. Love the Habanero even if it’s not very hot. I think I’ll get this one.

Bravado: another brand I haven’t tried but have heard mostly good things

The last three: wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot pole

    Edit to reformat because mobile

Aardvark is on my top 5 at the moment; great flavour, decent heat and a thicker consistency than many of the other sauces, so it works well as a general condiment. Heartbeat is brilliant, packed with flavour, but not crazy heat. Dickie’s is a good every occasion hot-sauce, without a lot of heat. Hellfire is quite hot and would rank much lower in terms of overall flavour. To me it feels more like a chemical burn and I likely wouldn’t buy it again.

  22. 20sidedhumorist

I am personally a fan of the bravado black garlic reaper hot sauce, and the scorpion disco is all right.

The only one up there I have any strong feelings against is Da Bomb Beyond Insanity. It’s not the heat level – I frequently enjoy hotter – I just loathe the taste.
