my grocery store used to have a really decent hot sauce selection. now it’s being taken over by wing sauce. anyone else experience this?
there used to be a bunch of off brand stuff. now they don’t even have the regular melinda’s flavors.

As the major brands expand their offerings, they buy up more shelf space, thus squeezing out the little guys. Same reason why the Latin foods section in many stores is just one big wall of Goya products.

I noticed that at a local grocery store. It’s mostly wing sauces and bbq sauces now.

I see that valentina and tapatio down there and I’m envious. For some damn reason the stores in my area no longer supply them and they were my go-to sauces.

Plus everything is packed with sugar or ranch/mayo whatever else. The market is demanding the spicy but with sugar to cool it down lol
